Breezy visits the Stockyards |
When we got back to the van, I had one tired little horse on my hands. |
Stormy, Breezy, & Bentley are an absolute joy to be around and everything I do revolves around them. This website is about these three beautiful miniature horses and all the adventures we share together. We are always on the go and are involved in many different activities from hiking to driving to traveling and camping out. Follow along as you never know where our next big adventures will take us!
Breezy and I went over to Julie’s house and had a fabulous time! She ponied Chaco for the very first time and he was a Little Rock star!
After we had our fun with the ponies Julie made the most delicious lunch then we hit the pool.
Checkout lunch! Wowzers! |
First we walked 3 miles at Art Cowsen Trailhead. Bentley did great, I simply hand walked him today.
Bentley being a big ole goofball |
Then we ended up at Longhorn Park on Benbrook Lake.

Bentleys training has moved at an incredible rate. I keep thinking… am I rushing things?… am I going too fast for him…. but I feel he is ready as he wants to keep learning new things and going to new places. We have worked really hard to get where we are today. Bentley and I do something fun every single day! There is so much training involved in creating a solid trail driving horse and we are both having a blast!
Day 2 of driving Bentley in the bike. This boy has some power and I haven’t seen nothing yet! I’m use to driving teeny tiny ponies, so Bentleys trot is huge for me and I haven’t even asked him for a really big trot yet. He is going to be so much fun once I start taking him out on trail.

Breezy and I just got back from Crystal Beach in Texas, about 5 and a half hours from home. We had a fantastic time! We were there for 4 days. We stayed at a small non-horsey boutique RV park that had only 5 RV spots and was only 3 short blocks to the beach. It was really nice and the owners were very accommodating.
The owners, Debbie & Kurt, were so kind to allow Breezy to graze in their backyard. |
After the beach we were supposed to head to Davy Crockett National Forest for an additional 3 days but we had to cut the trip short because the battery on my van died. Hubby wanted me to come home so he could fix it. The battery was hidden and he had to take half the engine out to get to it. Now I have a new battery and am ready for our next adventure.
Big plans this weekend, HUGE! We packed up and headed to McCown Valley Park for Bentley first overnight camping trip. I got everything all set up at camp and off we went to find some trails….
